What book made you fall in love with the genre you write?

Definitely Patricia Briggs' Mercy Thompson books.

If a movie were made of your most recent book, who would you cast in the lead and why?

Jake Gyllenhaal, because he's hot. And I totally think he could play Mal, my emotionally tormented werewolf hero.

What was the first story you ever wrote?

The first full-length novel I wrote was in my teen years. It was a historical western that has never seen the light of day (and never will).

If you could change the ending to any famous book, TV show, or movie, what would it be and how would you rewrite it?

Titanic. Share the floating wood thingie, Rose! Come on, move over, there is totally room, and you and Jack can go make babies and live a long, full life.

What is your favorite part of meeting your readers (and new readers)?

I'm a reader, too, so I love gushing over books and characters and stories, whether they're ones I've written or ones I loved reading.
