New Yorker Billionaire Nicholas Ryan needs a wife and he
needs her now. To inherit Dreamscape, an architectural
company, from his dead uncle, he must take a wife within a
week. Listing all his qualities desired in a temporary wife,
it is rumored one would miraculously appear. When his phone
rings with his sister, Maggie, on the line he can barely
believe his luck when she presents a solution. Her best
friend and a childhood playmate of theirs, Alexandria Maria
McKenzie has been creating her own love spell with finding a
rich mate to provide her with exactly $150,000. Her
intention is to provide the money for her parents in saving
their home. Repossession of their home is around the corner
due to her father's many medical bills. Alexa's second hope
is to borrow enough money from the bank to make improvements
to her bookstore.
With a little head banging and some give and take, they
agree to a cool $150,000 up front following the wedding with
no strings attached. They will not engage in sex but will
remain celibate for the year of the marriage. At that time
it will be dissolved to go their separate ways. The problem
is, neither expected to feel the hot pull towards each other
and spend all their time trying to avoid the sex pit. Nick
is all grown up and cased in a hot blooded body. Little
Alexa is way too sensual with all the curves in the right
places and the same pouty little mouth.
THE MARRIAGE BARGAIN is one of the cutest stories I have
read in a while. The story is highly amusing and kept me
chuckling throughout when I wasn't mopping the tears away.
Jennifer Probst has found an amazingly clever story line and
keeps the humor all the way through. She is an amazing
author. I absolutely love her style of writing and the
wonderful characters she has created. Bring it on. I can
certainly take myself away with pleasure reading her
A marriage in name only...
To save her family home, impulsive bookstore owner, Alexa
Maria McKenzie, casts a love spell. But she never planned on
conjuring up her best friend's older brother—the powerful
man who once shattered her heart.
Billionaire Nicholas Ryan doesn’t believe in marriage, but
in order to inherit his father’s corporation, he needs a
wife and needs one fast. When he discovers his sister’s
childhood friend is in dire financial straits, he’s offers
Alexa a bold proposition.
A marriage in name only with certain rules: Avoid
entanglement. Keep things all business. Do not fall in love.
The arrangement is only for a year so the rules shouldn’t be
that hard to follow, right?
Except fate has a way of upsetting the best-laid plans…
